Charlotte is not Charlotte yet

I went yarn shopping this afternoon after work. I was hunting for some Koigu to make my "Charlotte's Web" no luck. I ran around to several yarn store in NYC and I wound up with 3 skeins of Kureyon instead. Oh well! Charlotte is not meant to be yet.

Knitting doldrums

I've gotten very little knitting done the last two nights in spite of my best hopes.  It was my Mom's birthday yesterday and we took her to dinner on Tuesday and then cake last night with some uncles of mine.  I'm still hopeful to have the "shapely tank from hell" seamed tonight.  Who knows maybe I'll get the last few inches done on the body of the "French market bag".  Wait, that's probably too much to ask for, oh well..

First post

So here I am creating myself a blog.  Why?  I have no idea.  Is it merely because it seems to be the thing to do now, or is it just another outlet to for me to go on about my knitting?  Be the judge. 
 
Okay so about the knitting.  It seems to have taken on a life of it's own lately.  I have one too many projects going on at one time.  I've actually had to force myself to concentrate on one project to knock it out before going on.  Right now it is "Shapely Tank" from white lies.  I'm doing this for my sister out of Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece in a horrible mint green color.  It's taking me forever to do because the color is horrible.  I finally finished the back of it today.  Tomorrow I'll start blocking so I can finish it.  I cannot wait to be done with it.
